Goron Tunic
The red Goron Tunic is the heat protection. You need it for the Fire Temple and Death Mountain Crater. It is an adult item. The shop price on the wiki is 200 rupees.
Shop price or the rolling child
Two wiki paths: pay 200 rupees at the Goron Shop in Goron City, or stop Darunia’s son, who is rolling around the city, and take the tunic as a gift. Both are adult. A child on Death Mountain is dealing with the gate guard and Zelda’s Letter, not this shirt. The Zora Tunic is the water one and is a different purchase. I am not mixing their prices.
Like Likes can eat the tunic. That is a wiki warning, one source, and it is the sort of fact people miss if a guide only says “buy the red shirt.” I have no note that the Switch 2 remake changed the 200 price or removed the Like Like theft. Death Mountain’s page covers the crater and Biggoron’s forge, which is why you overheat up there in the first place.
Portuguese guides that say “red tunic on 3DS” are this item. I did not find a 3DS-only method. The 200 rupees is easier on the remake because you can hold 200 from the start, which is a wallet fact, not a discount.
The tunic solves the heat problem; it does not replace equipment needed for the Fire Temple’s puzzles. If buying it, check the wallet route before visiting the shop. If using the Goron child’s gift, follow that story interaction instead of budgeting a second purchase for the same clothing.
