Zelda’s Lullaby

Zelda’s Lullaby is the royal-family theme. Impa teaches it in the Hyrule Castle courtyard. The line is three notes played twice. It opens royal doors. It is not a warp.

Buttons, then what they open

N64: C-Left, C-Up, C-Right, and that trio again. 3DS: X, A, Y, twice. Switch 2: Y, X, A, twice. The Switch 2 line is the only remake glyph set I am willing to print, because it is the one OoT Guide-style retelling of a Nintendo screenshot that the research pass recorded. The other songs do not get a converted line. Zelda Wiki’s icons and that Switch 2 note are the two layers: classic buttons are the wiki, the new pad is a single outlet’s reading of a screenshot.

You learn it from Impa right after the first meeting with Princess Zelda, while you are still a child. Playing it proves a connection to the royal family. The wiki lists Zora’s Domain, the Royal Family’s Tomb, and the Water Temple’s water-level marks as the famous uses. I am not adding every later door, because a partial list labeled as partial is more honest than a fake complete one.

The remake’s songbook shows the buttons while you play, and humming or a real instrument can trigger the ocarina. A microphone requirement is not stated. Finger charts for a 12-hole clay ocarina are on the instrument page only as a description of the object, not as a tab for this melody. If you came here to buy that clay flute, go there after you copy the buttons.

Questions

What are the Switch 2 buttons?

Y, X, A, Y, X, A. That is one published reading of a Nintendo screenshot, not a full remake chart.

Who teaches it?

Impa, in the castle courtyard, after you meet Zelda.
