Princess Zelda
Princess Zelda is the princess of Hyrule. You meet her in the castle courtyard after the Spiritual Stone of Fire. In the 2026 remake, Erica Mendez voices Zelda.
When she is on screen
The first meeting is the courtyard scene: she has dreamed of Link, she explains Ganondorf, and Impa teaches Zelda’s Lullaby before you leave. That lullaby is the royal-family theme, not a warp. Later, as the adult story closes, she hands over the Light Arrows in the Temple of Time. Zelda Wiki and the Light Arrow page agree on that handoff. I am not pinning a minute count on the cutscene.
“Where is Zelda after Jabu-Jabu?” is a child-era question. After the third stone she is still tied to the castle escape, and the ocarina throw happens when you return to the castle and Ganondorf is already there. The wiki describes her tossing the Ocarina of Time so Link can reach it in the moat. I have one detailed wiki narrative for that beat, plus the song page for what the instrument does next, so I am not upgrading it to an official storyboard.
She is also called the seventh sage, the one who leads the others. That title sits on the wiki, one source. The disguise she uses during the seven years is Sheik. The next paragraph says who Sheik is. Skip it if you want the reveal later. Sheik’s own page repeats the warp songs without walking the courtyard again.
Sheik is Zelda. The remake keeps the reveal and credits Erica Mendez for both. Nintendo Everything’s cast list is the voice source. I am not describing the costume change frame by frame. If you only needed the look of the original Zelda, the wiki’s character page is the citation, and the remake’s store art is a separate, newer design I have not measured against the 1998 model.
