Patch notes and version history
The first published Switch 2 update is version 1.1.1, dated 4 November 2026. Nintendo’s support page says it adds ZELDA NOTES support and fixes several issues.
Version 1.1.1
The support article is the source I trust for the version string. It does not itemize every bug. I am not inventing a changelog from forum posts. ZELDA NOTES, described on the store page, is a feature inside the Nintendo Switch App: daily records, a Gossip Quest for locations, and playing the ocarina on your phone. A “2,000 questions” figure appears in Nintendo Everything’s list and not on the store page, so I leave that number off this page.
Day-one version before 1.1.1 was not printed on the support page I read. The cell stays empty. Scores that landed around the same week are on reviews. The feature list those patches sit on top of is on remake differences.
| Version | Date | What Nintendo wrote | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.1.1 | 4 November 2026 | ZELDA NOTES support; several fixes, not itemized | Official |
| 1.0 / day one | Not listed on the support page |
How to update
Use the console’s software update flow described on Nintendo Support. This site does not redistribute the patch. If a later version appears, this table should gain a row only after that support page, or a second outlet quoting it, names the number.
Questions
What is ZELDA NOTES?
A Nintendo Switch App feature the store page describes as daily records, a location hunt called Gossip Quest, and playing the ocarina on a phone.
Is there a full bug list?
Not on the support page fetched 5 Nov 2026. It says several issues were fixed and does not name them.
