What changed from N64 to 3DS to Switch 2
The Switch 2 remake is a new build, not a texture swap. Voiced scenes, a manual jump, a sprint, and a free camera in Castle Town are in the published change lists. Master Quest is not.
Changes I could line up
IGN’s headline says “29 new changes,” but the body of that article was not readable in the research pass. I am not promising a count of 29. The rows below are the ones Nintendo Everything listed and a second page echoed. Anything missing from that list is omitted, not assumed unchanged.
The 3DS version (June 2011) already replaced models and added gyro aiming, and it is the release that unlocks Master Quest after the credits. The Switch 2 list adds full voice, a jump you press yourself, sprint after a roll, a free camera in Castle Town, inventory split by child and adult, a songbook, and the Hall of Fallen Foes. Some older notes call that hall the Hall of Defeated Foes. The name used by Nintendo Everything, Game8, and Anime News Network is Hall of Fallen Foes.
Forest Temple puzzles are called out as changed. Zora’s Domain unfreezes after the Water Temple. Castle Town can be walked. Din’s Fire is described as real-time. You start able to hold 200 rupees, and bottles go from 4 to 5. A hum or a real instrument can make Link play; whether that uses the microphone is not stated on the store page. See songs for the button charts and controls for the new jump.

Where to go next
Buy links and the 27 GB figure live on Switch 2. Scores are on reviews. Dungeon-by-dungeon notes that have a source are on each dungeon page; only the Forest Temple has a sourced puzzle change so far. The walkthrough is the order, not a room-by-room dump.
Questions
Is every N64 puzzle identical?
No. Forest Temple puzzles are cited as changed, and several systems are new. A full puzzle-by-puzzle diff was not published.
Did they add Hero Mode?
IGN says there is no Hero Mode and only one save slot. That is one source.
