Saria’s Song

Saria’s Song is the Lost Woods melody people look up as a tab. Saria teaches it in the Sacred Forest Meadow. Switch 2 buttons for this one were not published.

The woods line

Nintendo 64 buttons are C-Down, C-Right, C-Left, played twice. The 3DS line is R, Y, X, twice. I am leaving Switch 2 empty. A converted guess would rank in search and be wrong. Zelda Wiki’s icon row is the source for the classic pads. The “lost woods tabs” query lands here because the song is how you pick the correct exit: play it and follow the path that answers. I am not saying the background music file and the ocarina line are the same audio asset. The wiki’s claim is navigational.

You learn it from Saria herself, in the meadow, after the Deku Tree, while you are a child. Later the song calls her for hints. Mido and Darunia both have scenes that need it. Those scenes are uses, written on her character page as her story and here as the melody’s jobs. The Forest Temple still needs the Hookshot; the song does not replace that tool.

Scarecrow’s Song is a different, player-made eight-note line and does not belong in this box. Sun’s Song is the one that changes day and night. If a tab site mashed those together, this page will not.

Keep the teaching location separate from the melody’s uses. Reaching Saria in the meadow is the learning step; returning to a character who reacts to the tune is a later application. The Lost Woods background melody is familiar, but the short input sequence is the command used by the game.
