Master Sword

The Master Sword is in the Temple of Time. Three Spiritual Stones and the Song of Time open the Door of Time. Pulling the sword as a child is what skips seven years.

Stones, song, pedestal, seven years

The Door of Time wants the Spiritual Stones from the three child dungeons and the Song of Time, which Zelda teaches in the story. The Kokiri Sword does not open that door. People who ask how to get the Master Sword without the stones are asking for a skip. The wiki’s condition is the stones plus the song. I am not publishing a glitch. Once the door is open, the sword is in the pedestal. Drawing it seals Link in the Chamber of Sages until he is old enough to wield it. That is the adult era.

Putting the sword back returns you to childhood. That is the time-travel loop the rest of the game is built on, and it is why child quests such as the lost dog close when you are adult. The blade is also the one the Ganondorf page names for the last blow. Damage numbers were not in the notes I copied, so I am not printing an attack value.

No remake sentence I have says the pedestal moved or the stones became optional. The manual jump and the free camera do not change this gate. If you are still missing a stone, the dungeon table shows which boss holds it.

Questions

Can I get it without the three stones?

Not by the wiki’s rules. The Door of Time needs the three Spiritual Stones and the Song of Time. I am not listing glitches.

What happens when a child pulls it?

Link is sealed for seven years and wakes as an adult.
